This Court vide order dated 25.4.2014, in the earlier writ petition No.7748/2014 filed by the petitioner, directed the Director General, School Education,Punjab to take a final decision on the legal notice dated 4.1.2014 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

After hearing counsel for the petitioner, it is apparent that in view of the provisions of Section 20 of Contempt of Courts Act,1971 the instant contempt petition is barred by limitation and as such there is no occasion for this Court to invoke the contempt jurisdiction. Dismissed.
