******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Reply on behalf of respondents filed, taken on record. Learned State counsel submits that as per order dated 22.03.2017 passed in CWP-10172-2015, compensation was assessed and cheque for payment was prepared, which the petitioner has not received. He has brought the cheque today in Court for payment to the petitioner. Cheque bearing No.141879 dated 28.11.2019 amounting to `20,58,000/- is handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner and photocopy of the same be placed on file.
Learned counsel for the petitioner accepts the cheque and seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to challenge the order assessing the compensation and avail other legal remedies available to the petitioner.
Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. Rule discharged.
