Petitioner retired on 20.5.2015 as Branch Incharge, Markfed Branch,Kapurthala. Since his retiral benefits were not being released, he filed CWP 16011/2015 seeking a direction to respondents to release the same.

The said writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 6.8.2015 with a direction to respondents to decide the legal notice submitted by the petitioner in this regard within a a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order. Alleging disobedience of order dated 6.8.2015 instant contempt petition has been filed.

Upon notice respondent concerned has filed reply by way of affidavit dated 7.1.2017 stating therein that the claim set up in the legal notice served by the petitioner stands rejected vide order dated Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2017.03.21 16:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 975/2016 3.12.2015 and in case the petitioner is still dissatisfied, he may challenge the same in accordance with law. A copy of the order dated 3.12.2015 has been annexed with the reply as Annexure R-1/1. At the time of hearing none is present on behalf of either of the parties.

In view of the reply filed, substantial compliance of order dated 6.8.2015 has been made and no further action is warranted in the instant contempt petition.

Dismissed as infructuous.
