Petitioner filed CWP 17234/2013 seeking release of constructed area of his land acquired vide notifications dated 23.8.2007 and 21.8.2008 issued under Sections 4 and 6 of the Land Acquisition Act,1894. The said writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 8.8.2013 with the direction to respondents to pass a speaking order within a period of four months.

Now after a delay of almost four years the present contempt has been filed.

At the time of hearing, counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh one with better particulars.
