1. By way of instant petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of directions to official respondents to protect his life and liberty at the hands of private respondents.

2. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

4. State has filed reply by way of affidavit of P. Abinandhan, SDPO, Sub Division, North East, Union Territory, Chandigarh which is accompanied by a copy of GD No.045, dated 24.2.2024 wherein it is recorded that the petitioner has stated that as of now he does not have any threat to his life and liberty.

5. In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition is disposed off having been rendered infructuous.

6. Needless to mention, in case the petitioner nurses any kind of apprehension in future as regards his life and liberty, it shall be open to the petitioner to approach this Court again.
