Petitioner approached this Court under Section 482 Cr.PC by way of CRM-M 9729/2016 seeking direction to respondent to proceed with the complaint reference no.PW-201510054 given on 5.8.2015 relating to alleged cheating/fraud and to protect him and his family.
The said petition was disposed of vide order dated 18.3.2016 directing SSP Chandigarh to look into the representation dated 16.7.2015(P-4) and pass appropriate order within two months as per law,after receiving the certified copy of the order. Now alleging disobedience of said order instant contempt has been filed.

COCP 457/2017 At the time of hearing today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor,UT Chandigarh has produced affidavit of Eish Singhal,IPS,SSP Chandigarh. The same is taken on record. In para 4 of the said affidavit it is stated that as no offence was allegedly committed within the jurisdiction of Chandigarh police the complaint was forwarded to the office of learned SSP Mohali vide memo dated 5.11.2015 vide registered post R-2 and the same was dealt with by Mohali police and SSP Mohali forwarded the complaint to Economic Offences Wing Counseling vide its memo dated 10.11.2015. A letter dated 20.5.2016(R-4) to the same effect was sent by the office of SSP Chandigarh to Assistant Registrar(Crl) of this Court. In view of the contents of para 4 of the affidavit and Annexure R-4, noticed above, no further action is warranted in the instant contempt petition.
Dismissed as infructuous.
