The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for transfer of investigation in the case bearing FIR No. 206 (Annexure P-6) and G.D. No. 42 (Annexure P-7) dated 11.12.2020 under Sections 341, 324, 323, 148, 149 IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Ahmedgarh, District Sangrur from the police to any other District. Notice served upon the official respondents through the State's counsel. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied in case directions be issued to respondent No. 2 to decide the representation dated 30.12.2020 (Annexure P-8) within the time bound manner.
The prayer being innocuous is not opposed by the learned State counsel. Given above, respondent No. 2-Director General of Police, Punjab, Sector-9, Chandigarh himself or by authorizing any officer of IPS rank to decide the representation dated 30.12.2020 (Annexure P-8) by passing a speaking and reasoned order within thirty working days from today. The outcome of the representation be sent to the petitioner without any delay.
In case, the grievance of the petitioner still exists, he shall be at liberty to avail legal remedy in accordance with law including approaching this Court. Petition is allowed to the extent above. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
