Ms. Sudeepti Sharma, Additional Advocate General, Punjab. Nirmaljit Kaur, J. (Oral) This order shall dispose of two contempt petitions bearing COCP No.494 and 3316 of 2017, as common questions of law and facts are involved therein. However, the facts have been extracted from COCP No.494 of 2017.
The present contempt petition has been filed for noncompliance of order dated 14.12.2016, vide which direction was issued to decide the representation of the petitioner by passing a speaking order. Reply on behalf of respondent has been filed. As per reply, the order has been complied with by passing of a speaking order dated 20.3.2017. The same is annexed with the reply as Annexure R-1.
In view of the above, the present contempt petitions have been rendered infructuous.
