NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 07.11.2016 vide which a direction was issued to allow the persons like the petitioner to face the interview by the same Selection Committee based on the same criteria.

Reply is filed stating therein that the order has been complied with. The petitioner was told to appear for the interview but he did not appear. The fact that the present petitioner did not appear for the interview is also evident from the order dated 10.12.2018 passed in CWP-21722-2017 and other connected petitions, placed on record by learned State counsel. On a specific query put to learned State counsel as to whether the Selection Committee was the same, it is pointed out that quorum was complete. One of the member could not be present but since quorum was complete, interviews were finalised and some of the candidates have also been selected.

In view of the same, no contempt is made out. The same is MEENU 2019.03.13 10:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
