Petitioner is employed as an Opthalmic Assistant with the District Handicapped Welfare Center,Rohtak. He is aggrieved by the non grant of benefit of pay revision on the acceptance of the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission as applicable to the employees of Government of Haryana.

It s claimed that respondents are in contempt in the light of general directions issued on 5.5.1999 by a Division Bench of this Court in the earlier writ petition bearing CWP 17197/1997 filed by the petitioner and other employees of the same Center.

In the opinion of this Court, it would, if at all, provide a fresh cause of action,if any.

At this stage,counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant contempt petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
