By way of the present revision petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of directions to the Appellate Court, to decide the application dated 11.04.2023 (Annexure P-5) filed by the petitioner for mesne profit within a time bound frame.

Vide order dated 12.01.2024 passed by this Court, status report from the concerned Court was called.

In compliance of order dated 12.01.2024 passed by this Court, status report from the Appellate Court has been received. It has been submitted therein that on 11.04.2023, an application seeking direction to ask the appellants to pay Rs.80,000/- per month as mesne profits was filed by the respondent/Rajiv Parkash and reply to the said application was filed on 12.05.2023. Then appeal was adjourned to 15.07.2023 for consideration of this application and again it was adjourned for 05.08.2023. On that date, an application was filed seeking issuance of directions to the respondents to HARJEET KAUR 2024.05.17 14:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document HIGH COURT CHANDIGARH
CR-159-2024 (O&M) -2remove the malba from the roof of the demised premises. Reply to the said application was filed on 19.08.2023 and the matter was fixed for 10.11.2023 for consideration which was again adjourned for 29.11.2023 and then to 29.04.2024.

So from the aforesaid report, it transpires that the application dated 11.04.2023 for granting mesne profits is still pending adjudication. 5.
In view of the above, the present revision petition is disposed of with a direction to the Appellate Court, to decide the application dated 11.04.2023 (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioner seeking mesne profits, as expeditiously in accordance with law, without granting any unwarranted adjournments.

Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

All pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of accordingly.
