(ORAL) Grievance of the petitioner in the present case was that petitioner being senior most in the feeder cadre, his case for promotion to the post of Chief Engineer was not considered. This Court on 15.01.2019 granted status quo qua respondent No.3, however, during the interregnum, another post has fallen vacant. Mr. D.S. Patwalia, learned Senior Counsel on instructions from Mr. Gaurav Rana, assisting counsel, who on instructions from his client, submits that respondents have given an assurance to consider case of the petitioner in case he withdraws the case.
