Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.192 dated 18.10.2019 registered under Sections 406, 420, 379, 465, 467, 471, 409 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Samana, District Patiala.

On 27.01.2020, this Court passed the following order:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is more than 70 years of age. The allegation in the FIR is that M/s G.G.S. Car Bazar sells cars purchased from other States as well as stolen cars without obtaining NOC from the concerned State and by preparing fake Registration Certificates. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner is neither the owner nor the proprietor of M/s G.G.S. SAVITA KADIAN 2021.06.28 15:37 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh

CRM-M-1205 of 2020 {2} Car Bazar, in fact he has two sons, one of whom is Jagdeep Singh, who is disabled and is living with him and he has disowned his other son, namely, Kuldeep Singh. He has placed reliance upon Annexures P-4 to P-6 to fortify this fact. Adjourned to 20.03.2020.

Meanwhile, the petitioner shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called for and in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C." Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Ranjit Singh submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. He has instructions to state that the petitioner is not involved in any other criminal case.

In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 27.01.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
