Petitioner asserts that order dated 26.7.2017 passed by this Court has been violated and therefore, contempt proceedings should be initiated against SSP Moga.

It is conceded that there was some money transaction between complainant-Gurdev Singh and the petitioner in the year 2011 qua which he has filed a complaint before the police. The petitioner had filed a representation dated 7.7.2017 before the SSP seeking his intervention. This Court vide order dated 26.7.2017 had only disposed of the petition filed by the petitioner directing the SSP to look into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

At this stage,learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
