RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.184 dated 29.11.1992 registered under Sections 308, 323, 452, 148, 149 IPC pertaining to Police Station Nakodar, District Jalandhar, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to order dated 05.02.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 15.03.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nakodar, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.86-CI dated 16.03.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide letter No.805G/JRK dated 18.03.2019.

According to the report of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nakodar, petitioner has deposited the amount of `15,000/- in RAVINDER SINGH 2019.05.24 16:14 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document the relevant heads as directed by this Court vide order dated 05.02.2019.

-2CRM-M-1234 of 2019 (O&M) Learned Magistrate is satisfied that compromise arrived at between the parties is voluntary.

Considering the report of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Nakodar, dated 15.03.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.184 dated 29.11.1992 and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.

Disposed of accordingly.
