Petitioner filed CRM-M 22363/2016 for directing the police authorities to take legal action, who had allegedly cheated him by selling the land of other persons. The said petition was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 15.12.2016 directing the respondents to ensure prompt action in view of the earlier enquiry and in view of the law laid down in Lalita Kumari v State of UP and others,2014(2)SCC1.

Now alleging disobedience of said order dated 15.12.2016 instant contempt has been filed.

At the time of hearing,learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw the instant contempt to enable his client to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
