Petitioner/plaintiff filed a suit for permanent injunction against Lakhwinder Singh and others wherein on an application for temporary injunction "status quo" has been ordered.
The present contempt has been filed with the allegations that Tehsildar-cum-Assistant Collector Ist Grade, Tarn Taran Tehsil Khandur Sahib has passed an order and thereby committed contempt of court qua aforesaid temporary injunction order.
At the time of hearing realizing that the officer concerned has passed an order in exercise of quasi judicial function and is not bound by the temporary injunction order besides the said officer is not a party to the injunction suit, counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the instant contempt petition.
Dismissed as withdrawn.
