Shashi v. Shashi Kumar
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH.
COCP No. 725 of 2017 Date of Decision: April 06, 2017.
Shashi ....Petitioner
Versus
Shashi Kumar .....Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA
Present:
Mr. Sandeep Lather, Advocate for the petitioner.
Mr.V.Ramswaroop, Addl.A.G., Punjab Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Petitioner has filed this petition for alleged disobedience of order dated 20.8.2014 Annexure P/1 passed by this court. Admittedly, after the said order was passed, an FIR No. 4, dated 3.1.2016 was registered under Section 498-A IPC at Police Station Women, Chandigarh at the behest of the petitioner. It appears that petitioner entertained into compromise with the respondent thereafter and filed petition for quashing of FIR on that basis. It is inexplicable how the present petition is maintainable. Same is totally frivolous. Petitioner is trying to play hide and seek with this court. Under the circumstances, this petition is dismissed with Rs.10.000/- as costs.
