....Respondents BEFORE : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA

Present:

RAJAN GUPTA J.

Petitioner alleges violation of order dated 04.10.2008 passed by division Bench of this court. He submits that State has not complied with the order in letters and spirit. On the last date of hearing a copy of the petition was handed-over to Mr. V. Ramswaroop, Addl. A.G. Punjab in order to enable him to assist the court. He today submits that all steps are being taken in view of order dated October 04, 2008 in CWP No. 4886 of 2003. He further submits that petitioner has relied upon general directions issued in the said writ petition. He has filed this contempt petition as he was earlier a tenant of respondent no. 4 and has some personal grievance. This court does not intend to express any opinion regarding stand taken by either party. It is, however, clear that there is no case for issuing notice under the Contempt of Courts Act is made out. Possibility that litigation is motivated cannot be ruled out. Petition is hereby dismissed.
