ANIL KSHETARPAL, J(Oral) The hearing of the case is being held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. Sunita and Shiv Kumar, the petitioners before this Court, claim themselves to be major. It has been pleaded that they have married against the wishes of respondent No.4 to 9 and seek protection to their life and liberty. They apprehend danger from respondent no.4 to 9. The petitioners have submitted a representation dated 10.01.2022, Annexure P-5, to respondent no.2.

Without entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, this Court disposes of the present petition with directions to respondent no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioners, Annexure P-5, within a period of one month and grant them protection, if any threat to their life and liberty is perceived. It is made clear that this order shall not be taken to protect the petitioners from any legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by them. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
