(Oral) This petition has been filed seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 25.11.2020, Annexure P-5, passed by respondent No.2, whereby benefit of one increment on account of promotion granted to the petitioner ten years back, has been ordered to be withdrawn without assigning any reason or hearing.

Learned State counsel is not in a position to dispute the fact that impugned order withdrawing the benefit of increment has been passed without any notice or hearing to the petitioner. 3.

In view of the stated position, the impugned order is unsustainable being violative of the Principles of Natural Justice. 4.

Therefore, without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the order, dated 25.11.2020, is set aside by PAYAL 2023.09.26 11:22 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
