***** Rajan Gupta, J. (Oral) Affidavit of Dr. K.P. Singh, IPS, Director General of Prisons, Haryana, Sector 14, Panchkula, has been filed in court today. Same is taken on record.

Learned State counsel has referred to Para 04 thereof. He submits that case of the petitioner for premature release has been considered and rejected vide order dated 17.05.2017. According to him, delay in deciding the representation has occurred as investigation/prosecution was by the CBI and opinion of the Central Government had to be sought. In view of the above, no cause of action survives in this petition. Same is hereby dismissed.

Rule is discharged.
