Mr. Ajay Kripal Singh, Advocate for the petitioner. RAJIV SHARMA,J Petitioner has preferred this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution praying for grant of six weeks' agricultural parole. Vide judgment/order dated 24.08.2017, the petitioner was awarded life imprisonment for the offence under Sections 302,307,148,149,120B IPC & 25,54,59 of the Arms Act. It is evident from order dated 25.11.2019 passed by the Superintendent, District Jail, Yamunagar that after having been released on parole, the petitioner-convict had not surrendered himself at jail in time and that he was issued formal warning for his violation in this regard. After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and having regard to the nature of the crime committed by the petitioner-convict, we are not inclined to grant the relief. Moreover, it cannot be said that the authorities below have not taken into account relevant considerations while rejecting the request of parole made by the petitioner.
