Mr. D.S. Bhikhi, Advocate for the petitioner. ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.267 dated 04.11.2017 registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 448, 471 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code (in short 'IPC') at Police Station Model Town, Ludhiana along with all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

Counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, restricts his argument to the extent that the petitioner has already given a detailed representation dated 16.09.2016 (Annexue P7) to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, which is marked to Economic Offences Wing. It is further submitted that though, the police is investigating the matter, however, the said complaint has not been decided so far. He has further submitted that before submitting any final report, the representation of the petitioner be decided, in accordance with law. Without observing anything on merits of the case, this petition is disposed of, at this stage, with a direction to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana that in case the challan is not presented before the trial Court, the representation dated 16.09.2016 (Annexure P7) of the petitioner be decided expeditiously preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
