Learned counsel for the petitioner states that if the Court is not inclined to accept the request for grant of parole to the petitioner then he be allowed to be sent to his native place in police custody to meet his family on account of recent death of his mother. This request is not opposed by the State counsel.

Therefore, the petition is disposed of directing Superintendent Model Jail, Burail, Chandigarh to send the petitioner accused to his house at Mauli Jagran Complex, Chandigarh for a day, during the next ten days.
