Subhash Gupta v. State Of Haryana
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH CWP-8215-2003 Date of decision: 07.03.2025 SUBHASH CHANDER GUPTA .........Petitioner
VERSUS
STATE OF HARYANA AND OTHERS ........Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VINOD S. BHARDWAJ ***** Present:- None for the petitioner.
Mr. P.C. Goyal, Addl. A.G. Haryana.
***** VINOD S. BHARDWAJ , J. (Oral) The instant petition had been filed seeking directions to the respondents to remove the anomaly and stagnation in the pay scale of the petitioner, his being an ex-cadre post having no avenue of promotion.
On 30.08.2024, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner made a statement before this Court that he is not in a position to contact his clients, whereupon notice was stated to be issued to the petitioner. On the adjourned date, report was received from the office that the petitioner had retired in 2004.
Even though the respondents were directed to furnish the correct address, however, the same has also not been furnished. It seems that the petitioner is no more interested in pursuing the present writ petition.
CWP-8215-2003 -2Dismissed for non prosecution.
Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioner(s) and/or the LRs to seek revival of the present writ petition, if any grievance still survives.
