Petitioner-Society is complainant in FIR no.11 dated 15.1.2017 under Sections 420,465,468,471 IPC and Sections 406,466,467,120-B IPC added later on, registered at PS Sohana, District Mohali against the Architect, Ex-Management and other officials for having embezzled the funds of the poor members of the Society. Since no FIR was being registered on the complaint made by the petitioner-Society, it was constrained to file CRM-M 35311/2016, which was disposed of vide order dated 23.8.2017 in the light of FIR having been registered during the pendency of the said petition with a direction for completion of investigation within four months. Present contempt has been filed with the averments that even the investigations have made no headway. Learned State counsel was directed to verify the facts and apprise the Court regarding status of the investigation in the aforesaid FIR. COCP 814/2018 At the time of hearing today, Mr.Bajaj, on instructions from ASI Naib Singh of PS Sohana, SAS Nagar states that the investigation has been completed and challan presented in the aforesaid FIR on 29.3.2018. In view of the aforesaid stand of the State, it is conceded that no further proceedings are required in the present contempt petition. Disposed of accordingly.
