The directions passed by a learned single Judge on 15.2.2018 directing the promotion of the petitioner-Ranjit Singh Malik as Deputy Director within the stipulated time were not complied with. Hence the present contempt.

In compliance of the directions dated 8.3.2018, Dr.Gajendra Singh Jakhar, Director General, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department, Haryana is present in Court. He states that the promotion order dated 14.3.2018 stands passed in compliance of the order dated 15.2.2018 passed by this Court. The explanation for the delay has been offered and accepted.

In view of the above,counsel for the petitioner agrees that nothing more requires for adjudication.

Disposed of accordingly. Rule is discharged.
