2023:PHHC:053384-DB
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH Civil Writ Petition No. 7831 of 2023 (O&M) Date of Decision: 18.04.2023 Sh. Ankit .....Petitioner versus Union of India and others .....Respondents
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE RAVI SHANKER JHA, CHIEF JUSTICE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ARUN PALLI, JUDGE Present :
Mr. Avtar Singh Bhatti, Legal Aid Counsel for the petitioner.
**** This is a third writ petition filed by the petitioner after having withdrawn earlier two petitions filed by him for the purpose of approaching the respondent-authorities.
After arguing at length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent-authorities may be directed to conclude the investigation and file a report before the competent Court. However, there is no such prayer to this effect made in the petition. It is also evident that even the petitioner has also not approached any authority seeking release of his admission fee.
When confronted with this fact, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for and is permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to approach the respondent-authorities by filing an appropriate representation/application in accordance with law. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
