Mr. Anurag Chopra, Advocate, for the petitioners. Mr.V.Ramswaroop, Addl.A.G., Punjab Rajan Gupta, J (Oral) Petitioners allege violation of interim order dated 17.1.2017 passed by a coordinate bench (Jaishree Thakur, J). Operative part thereof reads as under:- "In the meantime, any appointment made will be subject to the final outcome of this writ petition and in case appointment letters have not been issued, the same be not issued till the next date of hearing." Learned State counsel has referred to reply by way of affidavit of Iqbalpreet Sahota, Director, Bureau of Investigation-cum-Chairman, Central Recruitment Board, Punjab and submits that appointment of police constables (Driver) after issuance of aforesaid order has been withdrawn. He has referred to Annexure R/2 in this regard. Under the circumstances, no cause of action survives in this petition. Same has rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
