Marriage between petitioner-Parvinder Singh and respondent no.1-Amandeep Kaur stood dissolved by a decree of divorce dated 2.1.2018 by way of mutual consent. Petitioner is a resident of Canada and keeps visiting India. By filing present contempt it was alleged that respondent no.1-Amandeep Kaur was violating the mutually agreed terms and conditions regarding visitation rights of the petitioner-father for meeting his 4-1/2 years old child on his visit back to India from abroad. Notice of motion was issued; respondents were directed to produce the minor child before the Mediation Center, Sessions Division, Hsohiarpur for one hourly meeting at 2.30 pm each from 26th March to 28th March,2018; and the matter was listed for hearing on 16.4.2018. On 16.4.2018, counsel for the petitioner stated that his client was leaving for Canada on 19.4.2018 and therefore,prayed for one more opportunity alongwith his mother to meet the minor child before the Rajinder Parshad Joshi 2018.04.20 16:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP 920/2018 Mediation Center. Accordingly, respondent wife was directed to produce the minor child for a one hourly meeting at 2.30 pm on 18.4.2018 before the Mediation Center, Sessions Division,Hoshiarpur to meet the petitioner father and paternal grand mother. The matter was posted for further hearing today.

At the time of hearing today,learned counsel for the petitioner states that as per directions of this Court the respondent wife had produced the minor child and the meeting between petitioner, his mother and minor child took place. He further states that the instant petition has become infructuous.
