IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH CRWP-461-2023(O&M) Decided on : 18.01.2023 Ijaj Khan and another . . . Petitioner(s)

Versus

State of Haryana and others . . . Respondent(s) CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY VASHISTH PRESENT: Mr. Aazam Khan, Advocate for the petitioner(s).

Mr. Vikas Bhardwaj, AAG, Haryana.

**** SANJAY VASHISTH , J. (Oral) This is the petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for seeking direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 for protection of life and liberty of petitioners from the hands of private respondents No.4 to10 and not to harass or interfere in the married life of petitioners. On advance notice, learned State counsel points out that in fact according to the vernacular aadhar card, petitioner No.1-Ijaj Khan is r/o District Alwar (Rajasthan), but in the translated version, it has been mentioned as " r/o village-Bubalhedy, Punhana, district-Nuh, Mewat". Learned State counsel also points out that the marriage certificate dated 01.01.2023 annexed as Annexure P-3 with the petition, has been issued by Madina mosque nuh mewat, however marriage ceremony was solemnized according to hindu vedic rites and customs.

Thus, in no manner, petitioners can claim to be legally wedded couple. Faced with the situation, counsel for the petitioners submits that there appears to be some typographical mistake and therefore he seeks withdrawal of the present petition with liberty to file fresh one. Dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty aforementioned. (SANJAY VASHISTH) JUDGE January 18, 2023 k.
