**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J.(Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.PC for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.130 dated 23.06.2018 under Sections 22, 61, 85 of NDPS Act registered at Police Station Samrala District Khanna.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had been regularly appearing before the trial Court, however, on 07.03.2022 he could not appear before the Court concerned as he was advised bed rest by the doctor as he was suffering from Polyradiculopathy. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is ready to appear and join proceedings before the trial Court.

In view of the submissions made above, the petition is disposed of with direction to the petitioner to appear and surrender before the trial Court on or before 13.01.2023 and move appropriate application for grant of bail. Till then no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner. The trial Court on such application being moved shall decide it expeditiously in accordance with law. It is, however, made clear that in case the petitioner fails to appear and surrender before the Court below within the above stipulated time period, then this order shall be of no avail to him. 12.01.2023 (MANJARI NEHRU KAUL) sonia JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned:
