*** RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.250 dated 19.10.2015, under Sections 494, 495 and 420 IPC, Police Station Cheharta Amritsar City (P-2) and challan alongwith all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (P-3).
Pursuant to order dated 15.01.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 20.02.2019 along with receipt of `15,000/- to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Amritsar, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.48 dated 14.03.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, SONIKA 2019.03.20 17:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh Amritsar through e-mail dated 14.03.2019.
CRM-M-1428 of 2019 --2-- According to the report, ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar is satisfied that compromise arrived at between them is genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence, being outcome of their free will and consent.
Considering the report of ld. Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar dated 14.03.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.250 dated 19.10.2015 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner only.
Disposed of accordingly.
