SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS is for directing re-investigation of FIR No.98 dated 12.03.2023 under Sections 323,342,506,34 IPC and Sections 3/38/89 of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, in the light of serious lapses in the initial investigation and for failure to take appropriate legal action against respondent Nos.7 to 10, who are alleged to have exerted undue influence.

Learned State counsel would inform that a cancellation report stands presented on 10.10.2023 and the petitioner himself appeared in person before the trial Court as is evident from an order dated 04.11.2024 passed by the court of Dr. Tayyab Hussain, Addl. Sessions Judge, Palwal. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition.

Prayer is accepted.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
