CHANDIGARH CR No.1431 of 2015 Date of decision:27.02.2015 Pawan Kumar

Versus

Lovely @ Haithal

...Respondent

CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rakesh Kumar Jain

Present:

Mr. Rajiv Joshi, Advocate, for the petitioner.

***** Rakesh Kumar Jain, J.

The petitioner is aggrieved against the order dated 09.02.2015 by which application filed by the respondent under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (here-in-after referred to as the "Act") has been allowed and she has been awarded `6,500/- per month as maintenance pendente lite from the date of application and `3,300/- as litigation expenses besides `500/- on each date of hearing for her traveling expenses from her village Pacca Shehal (Chamiari), Tehsil Ajnala to Jalandhar. The amount paid by the petitioner in the proceedings under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (here-in-after referred to as the "Cr.P.C.") was ordered to be adjusted towards the maintenance pendente lite. It is not in dispute that the petitioner is already paying `5,000/- per month to the respondent under Section 125 of the Cr.P.C. Thus, as a

In view thereof, I do not find any error in the order of the Court below and hence, the present revision petition is hereby dismissed being denuded of any merit.
