Notice of motion.

On the request of the Court, Mr. Brijeshwar Singh Kanwar, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. After having heard learned counsel for the parties at some length, this Court is of the view that the writ petition can conveniently be disposed of at this stage.

The petitioners claim that they applied and were selected as Soldier (General Duty). However, they were not sent for training as there was some doubt about their correct age. As per the recruitment notice, the candidates were required to be in the age bracket of 171⁄2 years to 21 years. The petitioners claim that upon verification, their age was found to be correct, however, they have not been sent on training, whereas certain other selected candidates have been sent on duty. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, it is considered appropriate to direct the Incharge, Army Recruiting Office, Ferozepur Cantonment, DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2021.01.19 16:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Ferozepur, to consider the claim of the petitioners and pass a speaking order

Civil Writ Petition No. 1267 of 2021 thereon after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. If the claim of the petitioners is to be rejected then the order to be passed would be required to record the reasons thereof. With the observations made above, the present writ petition is disposed of.
