IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH Civil Revision No. 1502 of 2015 (O&M) Date of decision : 02.03.2015 Chohli Devi ...........Petitioner vs Parsi Devi (deceased) through LRs and others ...........Respondents Coram :

Hon'ble Mr. Justice Rajesh Bindal Present :

Mr. Ravinder Malik (Ravi), Advocate for the petitioner.

Rajesh Bindal, J.

The only grievance of the petitioner is that the execution of the decree passed by the Civil Court on 5.9.2005 after the same was upheld by this Court on 4.9.2008, is still pending.

The decree is pertaining to grant of terminal benefits on account of death of the husband of the petitioner. The amount is to be paid to the petitioner and mother of the deceased as late husband of the petitioner was serving as a Primary Teacher in Govt. Senior Secondary School, Shalehpur, Sub-Tehsil Sadhaura, Tehsil Jagadhri, District Yamuna Nagar. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, in my opinion this petition can be disposed of without issuing notice to the respondents as the relief prayed for is innocuous. The claim is that the execution is pending for six years despite the fact that the same is pertaining to grant of terminal benefits to the petitioner and her mother-inlaw. The learned Court below is directed to decide the execution petition SATYAWAN 2015.03.13 11:57 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
