NIRMALJIT KAUR, J. (ORAL) The present writ petition is filed for issuance of direction to the respondents to make payment of leave encashment of remaining 30 days earned leave, arrear of step-up w.e.f. 01.07.2015 to 31.12.2015 and balance amount of LTC alongwith the 12% interest.

The petitioner approached the respondent-Department personally and requested for redressal of her grievances and also gave representation dated 26.05.2018, but no action has been taken on the same. Accordingly, a legal notice was issued on 24.09.2018 through her counsel through registered post but till date, no action has been taken and the respondents are sitting over the same.

In view of the above and taking into account the dispute in hand, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. the concerned Authority, to decide the legal notice as early as possible preferably within three months from the MEENU 2020.01.16 11:13 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
