!$4 In consonance with the direction of this Court, the petitioner has made appearance before this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the two affirmatory orders of eviction passed by learned Rent Controller, as well as learned Appellate Authority, at this stage, petitioner, who is present in person, makes a prayer only for grant of some reasonable time to vacate and handover the possession of the demised premises to the respondent. The petitioner had made a prayer for grant of period of two years, but however, the same was not acceptable to the Court. In the given circumstances, he has confined his prayer for vacating the premises, within a period of six months. The submission, so made, is acceptable to learned counsel for the respondent.

vacate the demised premised and hand over its vacant possession to the respondent, within a period of six months from today only i.e. on or before 01.11.2024.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner shall continue to pay the rent, at the prevalent rate by 6th of each month. In case of default of payment of rent, for any month, for any reason, the respondent shall be at liberty to seek the possession of the desmied premises, in accordance with law. In case of defiance of the undertaking, so given by the petitioner, the respondent shall have recourse to the process to seek possession in accordance with law, as well as initiate contempt proceedings.
