The petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to consider and appoint him on any suitable post on compassionate grounds as per the policy instructions issued on 21.11.2002. 2.
Mr. Vikas Mohan Gupta, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, submits that the writ petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner has been appointed as a Peon vide appointment letter dated 07.03.2023. The learned counsel representing the petitioner does not dispute that fact. 3.
