(ORAL) The plaintiff-petitioner herein had filed a suit against the Wakf Board and others for permanent injunction restraining the defendants therein from disturbing the peaceful possession of the plaintiff-petitioner over the suit property. The said suit was dismissed vide order dated 25.02.2009. Aggrieved by the same, the present revision petition has been filed. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.1-Punjab Wakf Board has handed over a letter dated 22.02.2023 issued by the Punjab Wakf Board, Jalandhar stating therein as under : "To The Chief Executive Officer, Punjab Waqf Board, Chandigarh.

Sub: Intimation regarding case titled Arjan Singh Vs. Punjab Waqf Board.

CR-2624-2009 (O&M) -2Sir, It is submitted that the Punjab Waqf Board has licenced out the waqf land attached to Khangah/Graveyard comprised in Kh. No.288 area measuring 1 Kanal 15 marla out of 1K-15M. situated at Basti Mithu, Jalandhar in favour of Shri Arjan Singh S/o Sh. Mangal Singh R/o H. No. 728, Basti Mithu, Jalandhar for the year 2022-23 to 2024-25 vide Lease Order No.24/L-U/1696/22/234 dated 30.1.2023. He has paid the licence fee to the Board upto the year 2024-25.

This is for your kind information and further necessary action please.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the plaintiff-petitioner states that she does not wish to press the present revision petition. Accordingly, the present revision petition is dismissed as not pressed.
