(ORAL ) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short 'the Cr.P.C.)' praying for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.207 dated 25.11.2019, under Section 420, 506 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Gidderbaha, District Shri Muktsar Sahib.

On 15.01.2019, while issuing notice of motion, interim protection was granted to the petitioner subject to joining investigation and complying with the provisions contained in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C. RAJ KUMAR ARORA 2020.02.10 11:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-1427-2020 (O&M) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has now been settled in the Mediation Centre of this Court in the connected case. He further submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to join investigation as and when called upon by the police in this regard, if so required.

Per contra, learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Baz Singh, verifies the factum of compromise which has been arrived at between the parties in the Mediation Centre and on specific instructions, he further states that the petitioner is no more required for custodial interrogation.

In view of above stand taken by the learned State counsel, the present petition is allowed. Interim order dated 15.1.2020, is hereby made absolute.
