*** NAMIT KUMAR, J. (ORAL) Petitioners have filed the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.PC seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.148 dated 07.12.2022 under Section 21(a) NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Jaitu, District Faridkot (Annexure P-1).

Vide order dated 13.01.2023 while granting interim protection, the petitioners were directed to join investigation. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that pursuant to order dated 13.01.2023, petitioners have joined the investigation and as such their interim bail may be made absolute. The learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sikander Singh has affirmed the fact that the petitioners have joined the investigation and their further investigation in the present case is not required.

In view of the above, interim order dated 13.01.2023 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

The present petition stands disposed off.
