(ORAL) In compliance of order dated 17.01.2020, learned counsel for the petitioner has produced receipt of `20,000/-. The same is taken on record. Registry is directed to verify the deposit of costs by the petitioner with the concerned quarters.

Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.67 dated 04.07.2013 registered under Sections 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Garhshankar, District Hoshiarpur, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to order dated 17.01.2020 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Garhshankar, on 26.02.2020 to get their statements recorded. -2CRM-M-1853 of 2020 Judicial Magistrate, Garhshankar, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.466 dated 27.02.2020, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur, vide Endst. No.4776 dated 28.02.2020. According to the above report, compromise effected between the parties is genuine, voluntary and without any pressure or coercion. No accused has been declared proclaimed offender. Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No.67 dated 04.07.2013 registered under Sections 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Garhshankar, District Hoshiarpur, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed qua petitioner only.

Disposed of accordingly.
