*** PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) This is the second petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking pre-arrest bail in FIR No. 156 dated 7.11.2022 for offences punishable under Sections 323,353,186,332,379-B,342,506,148,149 IPC,1860 registered at Police Station Verowal, District Taran Taran.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the pleadings raised in para 7 of the petition there is a see change in the circumstances and after DDR stands lodged at the behest of the petitioner now the question as to who was the aggressive party shall be a matter of trial. I have heard leaned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record of the case.

CRM-M-1882 of 2023 From the pleadings raised in para 7 of the petition the only inference that can be drawn is that the petitioner has been able to evade the process of law despite dismissal of pre-arrest bail by this Court for more than one month. In view of the aforesaid circumstances and keeping in view the gravity of the allegations levelled against the petitioner wherein it was alleged that he mis- behaved with the girl students of a School entering in the premises, this court doesn't find petitioner entitled for pre-arrest bail. Moreover the fact highlighted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has influence being husband of Sarpanch of the village also does not help the case of the petitioner but rather shows the reason as to how he has been able to evade arrest for a period of more than a month.

Keeping in view the seriousness of the allegations levelled against the petitioner, no ground for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. Consequently, the present petition stands dismissed.
