Seeking directions to respondent Nos. 1 and 2 for handing over investigation of the FIR captioned above to any independent agency of higher officer, the petitioner has come up before this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. 2.

The case is called out twice.

On the last date of hearing i.e. 16.09.2024, this Court had passed the following order which reads as under:

In complaince of order dated 20.05.2024 passed by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court, Affidavit of Narinder Singh, Deputy Superintendent, Sub Division Rural, District Hoshiarpura dated 14.09.2024 filed by State counsel today in the Court is taken on record.

None has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. List on 23.09.2024.

It is clarified that in case, the petitioner still remains absent on the next date, then this Court shall proceed further by appointing a legal aid counsel on his behalf."
