***** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (Oral) This is a revision petition that has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of directions to the Rent Controller, Faridabad to expedite the eviction proceedings in Rent Peition No. 69 of 2012 dated 18.12.2012.

This matter is pending in this Court since 2015. The matter was taken on 02.12.2016 when proxy counsel for Mr. Pardeep Solath, the counsel who had instutited the petition, sought an adjournment. A reading of the revision petition reflects that the petitioner is a senior citizen, who had instituted an eviction petition under Section 13 of the Haryana Urban (Control of Rent & Eviction) Act, 1973 and was desirous that her petition be decided expeditiously taking into account her SATYAWAN 2019.01.18 17:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Though, proxy counsel for the petitioner is present, however, is unable to apprise the Court whether the proceedings before the Rent Controller have culminated.

In view of the limited prayer made, the instant petitoin is being disposed of by giving a direction to the Rent Controller, Faridabad to expedite the hearing ( if the matter has not already been decided in the interregnum) expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
