PANKAJ JAIN, J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India by the petitioners seeking issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant seniority to the petitioners on the basis of their merit obtained in written examination for the post of Revenue Accountants under Advertisement No. CRA-293/19 dated 05.09.2019 and to further count the period from 01.09.2020 i.e. the date when the batchmates of the petitioners had joined as Revenue Accountants to 06.06.2022 in the probation period of the petitioners. 2.
Ld. Counsel for the petitioners at the outset contends that the legal notice served at the behest of the petitioners through their counsel is pending adjudication with the authorities and the same has been appended along with the present petition at Annexure P-12 and he limits his prayer for adjudication thereof in accordance with law in a time bound manner. 3.
