Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari/mandamus directing the respondents to finalize the pay scale of the petitioner as he was regularized to the post of JCB Driver on 06.08.2020.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case the representation dated 09.09.2021 (P-5) is considered and decided expeditiously. Notice of motion to that limited extent.

CWP No.2948 of 2022 on behalf of respondent No.1 as well as respondent No.2, respectively, and raised no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioner. In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with direction to respondent No.2-Chief Executive Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Block Maur, District Bathinda, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation dated 09.09.2021 (P-5) in accordance with law by passing a speaking order preferably within a period of 04 (four) weeks after the receipt of certified copy of this order.
